Our Mission Statement

The mission of Heavenly Host Lutheran Church and Early Childhood Center is to teach God's truth through the Bible, nurture to grow, serve to encourage all.

Membership

If you are interested in becoming a member of Heavenly Host, please speak with our pastor. Membership is given through transfer, affirmation of faith, or through a series of informative and interesting classes on the basic teachings of the Bible and the Lutheran faith. We would be glad to have you become a part of our church family!

Baptism

We believe that Jesus’s command in Matthew 28:19-20 to “…make disciples of all nations, baptizing them…” is still an important part of the mission and ministry of the church today. If you or any members of your family are not baptized, please speak with our pastor about being baptized. We would be glad to serve God by bringing this gift into your life.

Holy Communion

The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated at Heavenly Host in accordance with the Holy Scriptures, which tell us that Christ’s same body and blood given and shed on the cross is what we receive in, with and under the unleavened bread and wine. This divine mystery is given for us so that we may have what Christ’s own words declare: forgiveness. If you do not agree with this view as the clear teaching of Scripture, we humbly ask you to refrain from communing for your own protection, as Saint Paul says, “He who does not discern the body rightly, eats and drinks judgment to himself” (1 Cor. 11:29). You are, however, invited to speak with the pastor regarding our practice and your desire to commune at this altar.
